On the Champions Online launch team at Cryptic Studios, I owned the Nemesis System box feature, a personalized antagonist content framework that became one of the superhero MMO’s signature features. The system cast each player as the hero of their own comic-book narrative, generated player-specific villain encounters, and produced witnessed public moments where other players could see and join the story unfolding.
- Owned, tuned and shipped the Nemesis System, including a villain customization costume creator and player-specific recurring antagonist encounters
- Designed and shipped the Champions Online new player experience as a launch feature
- Authored mission content, gameplay systems, and combat features across the launch content slate
- Partnered with engineering on systemic gameplay frameworks at launch
