As Principal Designer on Ashes of Creation, I led the design and optimization of core gameplay systems for a large-scale live-service MMO, shaping onboarding, progression, and long-term engagement loops within Unreal Engine. I worked closely with narrative and engineering teams to align story, systems, and player experience, mentoring designers while establishing clear quality bars and ensuring cohesion across all content. My focus was on integrating narrative seamlessly into gameplay, while building scalable content pipelines and tooling that improved iteration speed, stability, and overall development velocity.
