Early in my career at Cryptic Studios, Sony Online Entertainment, and The 3DO Company, I designed and implemented scalable gameplay systems, quest mechanics, and encounter balance across multiple titles, supporting player progression and long-term engagement. I built reusable content pipelines and scripting systems in C++, LUA, and finite state machines to enable rapid iteration and consistency across player experiences. My work also focused on onboarding and guided progression, reducing new-player churn, while delivering level design and gameplay features that enhanced engagement, increased monetization, and drove significant growth in player lifetime value.
